【DIY for life】A comfy place for shoes

I have lived in Taipei since I was born.
However, I am still not used to the weather here, raining often. 

It rains heavily especially in plum rain season, making me be sick of the humid and muggy Taipei. 
Rain always makes me feel blue blue and blue :-o

There is a big problem bothering me for a long time!
The shoes cabinet smells due to the stuffy and closed environment. 
The ventilation in the cabinet is not good and there are many shoes in it, making the shoes cabinet give out a stinking smell. :-x

Although there are blinds on the door of shoes cabinet, the air in it does not circulate well, making the environment easy to be humid.

To keep air circulating well, I have tried the way to open the doors, but it made the corridor narrower and narrower.

Obviously, this way is not the best one to solve my problem. :-S

The smelly shoes cabinet is a big big nightmare to my family totally!!!

Therefore, I quest for a better method to keep it in good ventilation and to ease the bad smell. 

I did DIY with USB fan, used for cooling my Bi Box last time :p

I think it may put certain effect on my shoes cabinet as well!!!

What should we prepare for it?

→USB fan, magnet set(magnet x2+ screw x2), strong magnet x2, screwdriver, power bank, 3M Polyfoam tape, a pair of scissors

*Let’s do it

Step 1. Lock the magnets and screws onto one side of the USB fan  

Step 2. Stick 3M Polyfoam tape onto the door, and stick the strong magnets with it ( illustrated as below)

Step 3. Put the USB fan locked with magnets onto the door (as below)

Done :-D

Step 4. And the last step! the USB cabin connect with the power bank to start the fan

The door of shoes cabinet can be open and close well even if we install a USB fan on it, because the USB fan is light and small! 

LOOK!!!!!!!How easy and convenient it is to install!I know you guys wonder if this method keep the air ventilation in a better condition effectively?The answer is YES!!!The bad smell from shoes cabinet has eased a lot, and it keeps the air in closed environment much refreshing.The DIY device did solve my problem : )
