【DIY for Life】Mi Box never ever be overheated!!!

As for me, I am indeed the luckiest one in the world to own such amazing friends around me.
No matter how my life goes on, they are always by my side. <3

My friends gave me a big big surprise on my 24^th birthday last month.

Guess what?????

This is the very birthday gift I am craving for so long.


Everyone knows I am a TV-loving person that I often watch TV all day long at weekends to be relaxed
It is convenient enough to have Mi Box at home, because I can not only watch TV programs but movies as well.

However, there is a problem bothering me a bit. The set-top box is too small and black to be noticed on such my chaotic table…….lol

And silly me!
It is easily made to fall off from the table to the floor lol

What’s worse, it might be overheated after being used all day long!!!
I am worried about how long it could be operating x-(



So I make such the useful devise to cool down the temperature of Mi Box. B-)

What should we prepare for it?
→ USB Fan, box, foam, metal fan grill, box cutter, Polyfoam tape

Prepared?
Let’s do it!



Step1.
Cut your box in square shape/ cut the foam as big as the size of the box, then hollow it out in square shape as the size of USB Fan

Step2.

Stick the square frame of foam onto the box

Step3 .

Install the metal fan grill on the USB fan (to keep any kind of stuffs away)

Step4.

Hollow out a small hole on the bottom of box
Finally, plug the USB cabin into the USB port of Mi Box

And, all is done!!!!!!! : )

and we do conserve the recycled resource
SAVE the energy :-D

Magically, the problem of overheated box has been resolved, and I will not make it fall off to the floor over and over!!!
What’s better, USB fan is slim, silent, and light

USB Fan can be used with any kind of set-top box with USB PORT!!!
That’s why I take USB fan as the option.
And it can solve the thermal problem, which is the most important merit of it.

【Smart idea】A new great idea for doggy outside in pet carrier.

Recently I keep the pet, Dachshund. It’s cute and always melts my heart! I want to put my doggy into the pet carrier and go to the department store, MRT station or anywhere because it’s always rainy outside and I am afraid that much dust and mud are on my doggy’s paws so that they will make my house dirty.

However, I am too poor to buy the better pet carrier for my doggy. My doggy always feels too hot to move in my pet carrier. In order to make my doggy feel cool, I decide to install the USB DC fan plus screws and the metal filter with cable ties out of my pet carrier to blow my doggy.

I have a question. I am always outside and the places where I need to go are not allowed for pets inside, but allowed for pet carriers. Is the way that I install the USB fan for blowing my doggy out of pet carrier OK? Thank you very much.

【Question】Is the way better for my clownfish？

I have kept clownfish as a pet recently, but it died often.

I heard that it will die because of the high temperature. Therefore, I decide to clip the USB fan onto my fish tank for cooling my clownfish.

I am poor, but I want to keep my lovely clownfish forever, so I had a idea of DIY USB fan. I bought the cheap USB fan and the clip.

Is that way better for my clownfish? Or anyone else has better ideas? Thank you very much.

【Question】Is such the gift OK for the best friend?

My best friend’s birthday is coming and I decide to give her the handmade USB fan by myself for her birthday’s gift. Look!

Is that shining, right? I have made it for a day and a night, so I am reluctant to give it to her when I have it done.

My best friend and I study the same school and we always go to the library for study. She loves to read books, write some essays and goes to the night markets. However, she has a big problem with her hands. She has sweated hands heavily and she sweats bombastically. I decide to give her the DIY USB fan with the clip so that she can clip, plug and play anywhere.

The DIY fan can be stood up on the desk to blow dry forward to her face while she uses the PC.

It can be clipped the DIY fan onto my book to blow dry her sweated hands while reading.

My crying hands！

Last time when I dated with an adorable guy, I was afraid to stroll hand in hand with him because my hands sweat easily. At worst, whenever I am typing on my desk diligently, my hands are sweating soon. My keyboard and my mouse are wet with the sweat of my hands, and my paper is also wet with the sweat of my hands, too. It’s uncomfortable and disgusting with that. Especially, it’s worse in the hot and dry place when using the mouse and the keyboard. Afterwards, I got an idea using the DIY USB fan to solve the problem so I made it by myself to blow dry my hands anytime and anywhere.

Tools and Materials：

1)  an USB 5V DC Blower 7cm fan

2)  a clip

3)  a super glue

How to make it：

Stick the clip onto the back of the blower fan. Install with the power bank and you can plug and play anywhere and anytime. Isn’t it more convenient? You don’t need to buy any batteries that will pollute our environment.

Installation with my DIY USB fan：

As my photo displays, I clip the DIY USB fan onto the screen of my laptop. It can not only blow dry my hands, but also cool my laptop. Importantly, you don’t need to buy batteries and can protect our environment without batteries pollution. From now on, my paper isn’t wet by the sweat of my hands and my keyboard and my mouse are both dry under my hands now. My hands are NOT crying again. It’s better,right?

Help my wet shoes and feet！

We can get athlete’s feet easilier because of the clammy weather. The combination of Bacteria and Mould cause SMELLY easily. If you always stay long outside like me, you will find that you can’t always take your wet shoes away. It’s disgusting and uncomfortable! Importantly, the athlete’s feet can’t be cured easily with the wet enviroment.

Especially I hate the rainy day very much. Even though I wear the Flip Flops on my way and change the Flip Flops to sneakers on the destination, my sneakers still have been heavily saturated by rain. If you encounter the situation that you need to take your wet and smelly shoes away, you must feel embarrassed at that time because of your smelly feet. I always want to throw my wet and smelly shoes when I put them into my shoes cabinet after going home.

Therefore, I am looking for an USB fan for blowing dry my sneakers. It’s not only easy to carry about and light but also solve my problem. However, I can’t find the small fan for blowing dry shoes and then I decide to make it own my DIY USB fan. It costs down and benefits me very much.

Aha, I clip my DIY USB fan onto my sneakers in my office. I stay long outside all day, and I can’t take my wet and smelly shoes away anytime and anywhere. Above all, you will feel uncomfortable and depressed when you need to wear the wet shoes all the day. At worst, you maybe get athlete’s feet.

Installation with my DIY USB fan, it not only solves my problem but also makes my life better and more comfortable! By the way, you need to put them under your desk when you clip the USB fan onto your smelly shoes, or you will feel embarrassed when everyone maybe smell SMELLY.

【Cooling Anywhere】Useful DIY USB fan for drying your nail polish

Recently I want to make nail art by myself but the time for waiting it dry in natural is so long that I want to make a nail-dryer to solve it. The saying said that time is money. The more time I save, the more money I can earn. I really want to have my own unique nail-dryer so as to dry the nail polish on my nails anytime and anywhere.

Accidentally I had a great idea that I could make a DIY USB fan to dry my nail art by myself. It’s a great idea for those who want to save money and have an unique fashionable item.

Now, let’s go！

Tools and materials：

1)  an USB blower fan(DC fan,5V)

2)  two magnet

3) a expanded diagram

4)  a super glue

5)  a paper cutter

6)  a pen

7)  an eraser

 Step1：

Draw a expanded diagram  and stick it onto the cardboard. Cut a circle down on the central square as an air intake vent.

Step2、3：

Flip the . Draw a 3cm*1cm rectangle for the front air outlet and cut it down.

Step4：

Stick the USB blower fan onto the paper. Draw a 2*1 cm rectangle for the USB line.

Step5、6：

Assemble and seal it.

Step7：

It is a finishing product. Isn’t it cute? It’s a lovely whale fan in the world!!

Step8：

It is the back of the finishing product. You can see the USB line and its cute fins and tail!!

Step9 、10：

It’s alternative to stick magnet on the back of the box inside so as to attach on my blackboard.

 Step11：

Install with a power bank.

Step12：

I applied the nail polish which is nude and blow dry my nail polish in my desk.

Step13：

It can also attach on my office’s table. See, it looks a lovely accessory, too!

Step14：

It’s more comfortable as it attaches on the board to blow dry my nail polish!

 Step15：

They are my poor nails without nail polish.

Step16：

They are my beautiful nails with nude nail polish. They look terrific! I blow dry my nail polish in my office.
